Plast-Box, one of the leading suppliers of plastic packaging in Europe, has acquired 100% of shares in Stark Partner Sp. z o.o., a company specialising in the production of packaging for the food industry. The agreement between the owners of the companies provides for further operation of Stark Partner based in Urszulin (Grodzisk Mazowiecki) near Warsaw under its own brand.
This is the next stage of the development and strengthening of Plast-Box’s market position. The acquisition expands the group’s product range with innovative products and solutions for the packaging industry. Together with Stark Plast-Box, it offers customers a diversified product portfolio, introducing small packaging for use in the food industry to the group’s offer.
Stark Partner is a Polish manufacturer of packaging, offering its products to large companies in the food sector, including the dairy sector. It produces a wide range of packaging using thermoforming and injection technology in the production process, it is also a manufacturer of polystyrene film. It generates almost 95 per cent of its revenues in Poland. The remaining production volume is exported to Slovenia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Plast-Box Group, specialising in the production of technologically advanced buckets, is constantly increasing its presence on the developing packaging market. The company’s current market trends account for more than 50% of sales in the food industry. The introduction of Starka increases the scope of new competencies in the packaging sector and provides resources that allow to extend the scale and scope of operations of the Plast-Box group.
