A whistleblower is an individual who reports non-compliance with or violation of the law in his or her organisation, acting in the public interest. In Poland, the status and legal protection of whistleblowers are regulated in the Polish Whistleblower Protection Act, which ensures protection against retaliation and whistleblower data confidentiality. At Plast-Box Group, a whistleblower system has been established using secure reporting channels to prevent any retaliation against whistleblowers.
A secure and confidential Whistleblowing Form can be used to report any serious breaches at Plast-Box Group. The system enables anonymous reporting of various non-compliance incidents which may range from financial irregularities through environmental hazards, ethical misconduct, harassment, or violations of the corporate code of conduct. Each report will be investigated and the whistleblower’s data is fully protected. The data will not be disclosed to the parties or participants to the investigation while it continues, unless the whistleblower concerned explicitly allows otherwise.
