As early as 16 September, a unique match between the top teams of the PlusLiga will be played at the Gryfia Hall in Słupsk: Project Warsaw will face Trefl Gdańsk. The initiator of this volleyball feast is Plast-Box, a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and also the owner of the Projekt Warszawa team.On the floor of Hala Gryfia we will see the duel, which is part of the preparations of both teams for this year’s PlusLiga season. A real volleyball feast is being prepared, which will provide emotions at the highest sporting level. The event is the result of cooperation between Plast-Box, the owner of Projekt Warszawa, and the city of Słupsk.
Fans of Projekt Warszawa, as well as Trefl Gdańsk, experienced many unforgettable moments in the past season, watching the excellent play of their players. Both teams fought thrilling duels in the quarter-finals of the competition.
On the court, we will see outstanding PlusLiga volleyball players. The colours of the Project will feature such players as Artur Szalpuk, Piotr Nowakowski, Damian Wojtaszek, Andrzej Wrona, Jan Firlej and Jakub Kowalczyk. On the other side of the court, representing Trefl Gdańsk, we will see Mikołaj Sawicki, Karol Urbanowicz and Kewin Sasak. During the match there will be no shortage of hot cheering, which will be the responsibility of the announcers together with a DJ and fan clubs. Excitement and attractions can also be expected off the court.
Plast-Box wants to support the development of volleyball also among its young adepts – therefore during the event children aged 11-14 will have the opportunity to enrol in a branch of the Volleyball Academy in Slupsk. The academy was established thanks to the cooperation of the Plast-Box company, the Projekt Warszawa club and the Slupsk city authorities.
Right after the match, young volleyball fans will meet their volleyball idols from the senior team. Numerous competitions with attractive prizes in the form of gadgets from the capital club will also await volleyball fans.
The match of PlusLiga stars initiated by Plast-Box is a great excitement for fans and an inspiration and impulse for the rebirth of Slupsk volleyball.
